gsphotoguy 2 Posted August 7, 2010 I was attrracted to the overall image in the thumbnail but it wasn't until I saw the full size version that I saw the heart. This is a very clever element that works well in the mood of the rest of the photograph. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 7, 2010 Mark,This is a very nice photograph. I really like the mood you have created. There is a lovely soft romantic feel to the image. She has a wonderful expression. You want to make sure the window is vertical. It slants a little toward the lower left corner. There is way too much out of focus curtain area showing. I would crop a little off the left side and a bunch off the right side. This would help keep the viewer's eyes from being drawn to the large out of focus areas -- away from your subject. An out of focus background draws attention to your subject. An out of focus foreground draws attention away from your subject -- generally, of course.Nice shot,Mark Link to comment
tonyfrench 0 Posted August 9, 2010 Beautiful photograph. The softness of the tones is lovely, particularly on her face and her reflection. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted October 16, 2011 Beautiful capture. In all senses, a great photo, in B/W it makes it even more compelling. It conveys many deep thoughts going through the subject's mind. Classic photography! Link to comment
