Interesting composition, good job to think of taking it this way. This reminds me of the glass art I commented on earlier, sort of a free, floaty feeling. I like it.

Okay, I'm liking this a lot. What about cropping the left side just past the bole of the tree; and then cropping the right side to just about the tips of the frond in the upper right? This makes a square format that emphasizes the transluscent green of the fronds and their shapes. In the alternative, what about just the right side crop? Good eye to see this one! Cheers! Chris

I'll try your idea, as well as some other ideas you've shared recently.....as soon as I have a chance. Thanks! The other shot you helped me with was the 'pickle-weed'. Thanks for identifying that for me....I didn't even know what I was shooting. :) I'm actually an avid gardener, but I don't know squat about desert vegetation. Anytime you can give me a name for something, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for the comment, Chris.

This is a very nice composition. In general I like your flowers a lot. You manage natural colors very well. Congrats.
