What's this? Doug in the country? Unbelievable! I love this silhouette. The sky can almost pass as water. And the orb (sun or moon?) a reflection. Very well done my friend.

Thank you both. A few years ago, I looked out my window in late afternoon and saw this amazing sky. I posted another version of this photo and someone criticized me for setting the contrast way too high, but this is actually how it looked! I've never seen it look quite like this again.

That looks a little like a grain elevator, but I think it's an office building or a housing project. Years ago the projects were all up & down the east side of the north bound Ryan expressway & I always thought they looked like huge grain elevators. So how 'bout it Doug, what's under that remarkable sky?

I used to live in the highrise district downtown over by Navy Pier, and those are my neighboring residential buildings. Funny enough, if I still lived there, I never would have gotten this shot b/c so may highrises have gone up that you can't see farther than across the street. Interesting observation about it looking like a grain elevator. I definitely see it now that you point it out, although it hadn't crossed my mind until then.
