Good starting point, but there are a few things that bother me. What is going on with the frame? On my browser it is very weird. Also the overall tonal range has too much contrast, the sky is blown out, and the tree trunks are flattened out black. This may have been your intention, if it was then I think it would have worked better without the distant band of scrubby trees, leaving a much starker composition, thus allowing you to play around with the tonal range. Just my humble opinion. Best regards Hugh

OOPsss. I did not see the frame properly as in the editing program i have a backgorund that confuses with bw colours. As for the sky, there was some fog and the sky was quite gray with no clouds. As for the contrast i agree that it could be too strong. I had whised to have a strong contrast, above all on the path and not in the trunks area. I think i should improve my PS skills. Maybe with selective contrast? thanks for your comments that make me think how to improve.

Antonio, I was drawn to your beautiful portfolio by "Where the Sea Meets the Sky". I like this one. I like the blown out sky as it gives the picture a dream-like quality that I note in many of your beautiful photographs. I think the high contrast is effective as an interpretation of the scene, making it more abstract. I like the silhouetted olive (?) trees tracing their own paths against the sky. - Best, Roy
