paolo de faveri 1 Posted February 24, 2008 Hello everyone,I'm revisiting some of my old shots for a project for a book I'm currently carrying on. This is a picture I always liked in colors, but now it seems to me it's working better in B&W. Your comments are highly appreciated, thanks for your time. http://www.paolodefaveri.com Link to comment
vetterhome1 0 Posted February 24, 2008 It lives from the geometry. I like it. A little bit more contrast? BR Joerg Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted February 24, 2008 Nicely done as is, but I think the subject begs for a horizontal format. Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted February 24, 2008 I love this photograph; and remember it in color. My thought here is that you should consider a square crop. Crop the sky down a bit; don't remove any from the bottom. Sterling shot, my friend! Good luck with the book; and do let me know when it is published, I'd like to get a copy. Cheers! stp 6 Posted February 24, 2008 Wonderful shot. The different crops will all have slightly different feelings and support groups, and all would be great. Link to comment
aslavihervuori 0 Posted February 24, 2008 Hav not seen this in colours. But this BW (or toned) looks great. I am a contrast man, but think that this photo has enough contrast allready. Square crop version? I have mixed feelings about cropping this; Square crop might make this some more effective, but then again sky above (existing version) underlines clarity of scene. Excellent shot. No ratings, as I do not them anymore. a s l a Link to comment
paolo de faveri 1 Posted February 24, 2008 Thank you all for you comments and advices, I highly value that. About cropping, I'm still considering indeed what's the format that better compliments this shot. This is 4x5 vertical simply because it's one of the available page layout, with caption on the left of the picture. I'm not sure about a horizontal cropping, as I would lose most of the upper sky, so the choice will probably be between square and this 4x5. Thanks to everyone again, Paolo Link to comment

mille2 0 Posted February 24, 2008 Ciao, complimenti per questa immagine. Forse invece che su di un formato quadrato dovresti provare con un tagio panoramico. Link to comment
