Sell Unwanted Items

No matter how hard I try I can't "see" any prairie's in your images! But I do like what I see in your cityscapes. "Keeping up with the Joneses" has us all wanting to sell unwanted items. You've composed this one just right, all the interest is in the signage, tells a story for sure.

This pretty much covers the possibilities, perhaps they could add "stolen goods accepted". I'd like to see this in b&w, I'm not sure that color adds much here.

Never mind Jack. He's just opposed to the red white and blue. Jeesh! Nice image. The seedy side of the American underbelly is always deliciously interesting. Good work my friend.

 

Only question I have is if they are unwanted, how can they sell them? Hope I don't lose any sleep over this.

Thanks for your thought, Jack. When I walked past this place yesterday, what initially attracted my eye was the garish colors, so I didn't even consider b/w. But now that I've looked at it that way, I like the result. I'll be curious to see what others think.

You've opened up a metaphysical can of worms that will tie my brain in knots. I'm guessing they're not selling very many VCRs these days. On an unrelated subject, this is the same building as the "Hotel Men Only" photo I posted yesterday. The transients standing in their hotel rooms (who didn't look real happy that I was taking their picture) are probably the chief suppliers and customers of this place.
