je ne regrette rien 67 Posted February 21, 2008 The pose is very interesting and also quite tasteful. But what happened with the skin tones? The grey looks very flat an unnatural, normally there should be more nuances. Maybe a bit of the left leg should also be shown somewhere. This way it seems that it is missing. Link to comment
artemyeff 0 Posted February 21, 2008 thank you for the comment, I actually did not do anything to the skin tones, just scanned the negative as is, maybe I should have edited it in ps but it looks quite alright on my monitor, Andrei Link to comment
je ne regrette rien 67 Posted February 21, 2008 I agree that it could be my monitor. Looking better at the photo it is just the belly and the right thigh. But I will take a better look on another monitor. Link to comment
hataiiia 0 Posted February 22, 2008 andrush - i have the same problem with scanning and uploading to pn. when the file size is larger than acceptable size, or one side is larger than i think either 550 or 650 pn copmresses the file and the pixelation is the result. it does not happen to digital files as much - but the scanned files always have this issue. so don't worry. this pn compression effect is closest to the effect you get from using "save for the web" option in photoshop. but i do see the pixelation here is more visble than usually. i am not sure why. i guess the original file size must have not been a good match for conversion that's all Link to comment
raymondborg 0 Posted November 8, 2008 I think you can consider to take this picture from a different angle. Maybe you may capture the model with both legs shown Link to comment
