zjb09 0 Posted February 21, 2008 Excellent picture. The cloud really compliments his movement and the shadow really adds. Was this during a practice? Link to comment
greg_smith14 0 Posted February 21, 2008 Thank you for the feedback, Zac. No, it was at the far end of the track during an athletics league event, so i had literally one shot to get it right. I was really keen to use a bit of fill flash, but was worried it would distract him and end up causing him to trip over the hurdle... Link to comment

zjb09 0 Posted February 22, 2008 Wow. Amazing to get this during an actual event. I get that alot with the flash. Coaches get angry about it. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 24, 2008 I understand the problems related to using a fill-in but this really would could use some. Teh colors are like made for a sensor - RGB. Even the cloud is parked well. The composition is otherwise a bit compromise, but this is what real sports photography is. Very good idea, excellent timing and angle. Not far from being a cover shot for a big sports mag. Conclusively, very good. Link to comment
