Working in a maternity hospital for many years in labor rooms as well( was a supervisor in the hospital), I know many scenes of all kinds of human emotions and relations. This is the best of them all... Very soft and tender, you have well represented it.

John, Cherlyn and Pnina for your observations and comments. One of my main goals in photography is to capture the expressions of human emotions under different circumstances. It's my blessing to witness and capture these intimate moments through my viewfinder.

Pnina! I've been working in Critical Care taking care of the sickest for too long. Now, i want to witness the Miracle of babies being born everyday at work like you did. I am looking for training in this area now ;O).

This is my favorite of these images. I like how you can see a bit more of the father-to-be. This is a wonderful image! I only wish his hand was turned the other direction with fingers pointing tword the belly. Here's why: the implied line from the man through the belly to the woman is great and unifies all three subjects. However, its being broken by the 5 lines of the fingers cutting accross. Don't get me wrong. This is an outstanding image. Great mood. Love the photojournalist feel. Just giving a little "if I could do it over again" suggestion.

Well-taken, Pixel. I will look through the rest of the images of this photo session, hopefully i will find what you are looking for :o). She is 5-month pregnant of their first child (his second), i think he's giving her a lot of love and attention because the nature of maternal need for love and affection.

 

I capture what i don't have, can not have, or wish to have through these images. God knows, how much i wish to be loved and having a child :o). Hehe! So much for a confession. I consider myself blessed with seeing so much beauties in life, and able to capture them through my viewfinder.
