doug_gentry 0 Posted February 20, 2008 Hey Debra, Every now and then, it just happens! This is one of those photos! It's well composed, the tonal range is good and there is something about it that is quite attractive. Great work!! Regards! Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted February 21, 2008 I agree with Doug; this is sweet! I love the composition and your black and white conversion is quite compelling. Great tones and contrasts. Hey, when you have a chance have a look-see at my new postings from my trip to Death Valley last week; a lot of new black and whites; and even some color! Stay in touch, my friend! Well done on this shot! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted February 21, 2008 Now that I realize that this was shot with film; gotta say, "Bravo! Big-time kudos to you!" If you are spending 3-4 days in Vegas; you do have time for a good day-trip into Death Valley. It is 150 miles from Vegas to Zabriskie Point, Badwater Basin, and the Furnace Creek Visitor Center; and another 20 miles southwest and you're at the Stovepipe Wells sand dunes. There could be some great wildflowers blooming then too; we've had pretty good winter rains so far. Google 'wildflower bloom Death Valley,' or check the NPS website. I might be enticed to take a day or two off and meet you in DVNP if you decide to make the trip over. Keep me posted! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
