aepelbacher 0 Posted February 18, 2008 When we arrived at the camp where we stayed while at the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya, we were greeted by this sight. We were told that these are the bones of the guests who didn't follow the rules about not going outside the tent at night without an escort. :-D Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted February 19, 2008 I'm sorry that they clustered them all so close together. It is impossible to get any artistic photograph of a nice sun-bleached skull when displayed in this manner. But then I suppose the photographers are there to see live animals and not old dead ones. aepelbacher 0 Posted February 19, 2008 I KNEW you were going to be the first to comment, Shawn!! :-) Yeah, I don't think that they were put there to be photographed, either. I think they were simply collected from the park at different points in time, and someone obsessive decided to arrange them by height. :-) It never really occurred to me to get closer and shoot individual skulls.... bradkim 8 Posted February 19, 2008 Lou Ann... There seem to be no human bones here... does this mean only animals didn't follow the park rules? (sol) Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted February 19, 2008 Brad - the guys who ran that camp were a riot. Have you been to DisneyWorld/Land? It was like the people who made announcements at Disney - they had a line for everything, and to US it was always amusing ... but I'm sure that to THEM it was the same "stupid" thing over and over. You oughta go there.... :-) Link to comment
