The large number of birds and the dark atmosphere reminds me of years ago, when I was studying in a kibbutz ulpan. All the volunteers and ulpanists reviewed Hebrew, socialized, danced and partied at night, but my friend and I used to quietly visit the empty pool (there's nothing like a night swim), doing backstrokes and butterfly strokes and then...the appearance of the insect-seeking bats, swooping down. The pool-cleaning robotic device on the bottom, and the bats up top: it was both creepy and fun, like this.

What an artistic image, well done... It's like a dream!

Donna , I think because of "Alfred Hitchcock" , any gathering of birds make us feel a bit creepy :)
