Washington Monument and grounds, Washington, DC

Going through some old DC images. This from Fall of 2006. I loved the sky that day. Gave me lots to work with. I used a wide-ish focal length, so I played with the perspective to straighten out the monument. Could still probably tweak the columns in the museum (lower left). Thoughts?

As seems to be the theme lately, I played with this in B&W as well. Thoughts?

The clouds really steal the show for me here--the mixture of the white and gray, their dominance in the sky, etc. Very nice.
