neda_madani 0 Posted February 15, 2008 this is a very nice image. It is tack sharp and the lighting is soft and has wrapped around the subject. the most interesting thing is the separation of the image from the background which has made the subject stand out. the amount of blur is fascinating and the angle of view has left nothing obtrusive in the background that can distract the viewer, but I cant understand why there is so much of a blank space around the subject. I think a vertical frame would be more appropriate. Link to comment
john_mccarley 0 Posted February 15, 2008 man! your shot of the red tail is great. That must have been a thrill. Try photo shopping the background gray on the Junco pic. See if that doesn't make him jump out at you alittle. Thanks for your military service. JM Link to comment
JohnMWright 1 Posted February 15, 2008 Nice lighting, very clean background, excellent focus. You have a number of additional crop options too. Well done. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted February 15, 2008 Bill... :-) This brings a smile. These little birds are quite personable and you've caught one at it's best. We don't have them here in my town, but in the mountains of Tennessee the Juncos that I encounter are around every hiking rest stop, unafraid, and usually watching for a handout. Excellent shot! david hemmings 0 Posted February 15, 2008 This is sweet, the pose, the perch and the background all come together nicely in this one. David Link to comment
