iancoxleigh 0 Posted February 14, 2008 Nice photo. I like the overall soft feeling combined with the sepia tone and the askance glance. The dark black lower left to the bright white upper right creates a diagonal for the eye drift across nicely. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 14, 2008 I can't believe someone would give this a 3/3. I mean really, to say this is, "below average?" They must be smoking something. They're probably jealous. This photo is unique, original, technically proficient, and aesthetically pleasing. Link to comment
pgavalis 0 Posted February 14, 2008 Thanks Ian and Jay. I really appreciate it. Even one compliment negates all of the low ratings. Thanks, Pete. Link to comment
petemillis 0 Posted February 23, 2008 Pete, this is a wonderful portrait. I need to ask if you are using tilt lens for some of these photographs, or doing to work in post processing. We seem to be on a path to create similar results! Nice work - and why would someone rate this average? So many people just don't see! Another Pete. Link to comment
pgavalis 0 Posted February 24, 2008 Thanks Tony and Pete. I truly appreciate the comps. Pete it is almost all post processing. I am not yet a master at framing an image that requires zero processing, so I have to capitalize on any skills I have taught myself. Thanks again. Email me if you need more info. Thanks, Pete.
