davidmccracken 2 Posted February 14, 2008 I do like this but I am wondering if it wouldn't be better if we couldn't see the other buildings. Just a thought! Link to comment

tanyatruong 0 Posted February 14, 2008 for leaving comments. I am very lucky to have this room with such beautiful lighting. Can't help to take a few shots ;o). Alon! Thanks for dropping a line. David, i am not sure what you mean. If i am correct, you are saying that the building makes the photo looks nicer?. That could be very true, i have to do a shot without to find out :o). Thanks Alex, i am still trying to recover. Beng! Hopefully it makes you feel as relaxing as the places you've visited :o). Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 14, 2008 I like the "semi" body, brings mystery to the whole.I like the light so nice on the body and strong outside. well done technically as well Tanya. Link to comment
allen_p 0 Posted February 15, 2008 I agree with David. I think if we could see the buildings in the background a little clearer, it would make it a more voyeuristic type shot. None the less.. it is still a great photo! Link to comment
jonathancharlesphoto 0 Posted February 17, 2008 I feel honored that my photo "Siesta" was the inspiration for this lovely image - but also rather unworthy as you have achieved a delicacy of lighting, tone and colours that is particular to you, especially seen in your nature pictures. The overall sinuous curve is the essence of feminine sexuality both subjectively and objectively (ie it's what a woman feels like as well as what an observer appreciates) and is therefore such a powerful and universal semiotic (or iconic symbol) for the sensual "Quiet Morning" lying in bed feeling. All the elements work perfectly here, the rich colours of the bedspread, the soft drapes, the carved bed post (showing so clearly what shapes inspired the craftsman!) and of course the beautiful body of your friend - I especially like the way you captures the interaction of her heels, worth a picture in itself. Even the buildings outside are IMHO important in showing that this feeling is not some impossible myth but potentially with any of us in a "normal" urban environment if we are open to it. Best wishes, Jonathan Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted February 18, 2008 Regardless, the shot came to mind when i thought of your Siesta photo :o). Thanks again for the inspiration. I love the relationship of the feet as well :o). Warmest regards, Tanya. Link to comment
