As it was going back to the road on a beautiful cold morning

I`d love to see more tones, as the light seems to offer them a whole lot. But the view and the composition are pleasant.

I like the shades of light and dark throughout the photo. It looks very peaceful. What amazes me, is that there is no underbrush. This could not have been taken in New England

Thanks for your comments. I did another greyscale convert ( this time directly with Irfanview's function) and tried to bring out a few more tones...it's a bit harder but different. The original high resolution image of this is probably better for repro.
