So, does it work?

I have to say, I love the XP2 film. I use iot for promo shots for a band I work for. The results from my first use blew me away. Sorry, just had to mention. I love the way the shade from the tree isolates the man. His garments also help single him out. Good candid shot!

I, too, like the way the shadows separate the subject from the "throng" in the background. I can't quite decide, however, if I would like a clearer view of what he is studying or not. I do think I would have cut down on the depth of field a little bit more.

 

I really like the subject. He would be an excellent subject all on his own. The shoes, socks, and sunglasses are oddly out of place with the rest of his robes and makes him very interesting.
