something very erie about tis image...

i think it the cross and the whiteness of the stones..

has a graveyard effect...

is jim morrison buried here?

oh, thats right he's still alive!!

 

not easy to see, but if walking we see something like this, then is really difficult to understand how strong can be the effect whit a well done photo, and difficult again imagine the "well done photo", choosing the correct point of wiew, composition, focal lenght

I'm sure this wasn't meant to be "spooky" but I too found it interesting in a sort of strange way. The toning has something to do with that and the crosses at the base of the benches are definitely telling part of the story. I like the complicated starkness of this image.

thanks for sharing, Susan.... I softened this a bit and the lighting was really low, it was actually sprinkling rain.... I will be back here late afternoon, I hope this week, and will shoot somemore angles, late afternoon with the sun at a different position....experimenting
