mike_jordan2 0 Posted February 12, 2008 very nice....how far away are you from her and at what mm did you shoot ? Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted February 12, 2008 Thanks a lot Mike! I used my 100mm f2.8 macro prime lens for this shot and I was within 10 feet of her if I recall. At the time, I think there was just a video light on her with possibly a reflector opposite the light - still quite dim in the room though. Link to comment
mike_jordan2 0 Posted February 13, 2008 are all your photos taken in raw then edited with phtoshop ? Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted February 13, 2008 Hey Mike ... thanks for stopping by. I pretty much shoot all RAW nowadays ... I don't own Photoshop and my graphics skills are not good anyway - all I do is just make adjustments to things like Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Colour Temperature in Digital Photo Professional and export it out to JPG then I use Faststone's Image Viewer to do some cropping if necessary and just to quickly look thru my images and finally I use Faststone's Photo Resizer to resize everything and put a copyright notice on all the images from that particular shoot. I don't own a tripod but probably would not use it anyway if I did (I do have a nice monopod but it's collecting dust usually) ... I think it'd help for sure because I don't have the steadiest hands but am also a bit lazy to set up even a monopod for a shot LoL Link to comment
