aepelbacher 0 Posted February 8, 2008 I know that this image has a lot of similarities to the previous upload (#08), but I really liked the leaning tree (again, with thoughts of occasional aspen in the West that grow with irregular angles before straightening out). Thoughts on the composition or color correction are appreciated. :-) Link to comment
stp 6 Posted February 9, 2008 I think the closer, more intimate look is much more interesting (I guess I'd rather see the trees than the forest). The only distractions that I see are the out-of-focus branch across the upper right, and maybe the clump of soft leaves the upper left corner. If I "crop" just below the offending branch by scrolling up, I think I like it even more (focusing more on the tree trunks without the upper canopy). I long to visit an area like this -- it must have been a great experience to be there. Link to comment
