I think this is an excellent shot. I feel that the abrupt depth of field is perfect and important as it portrays a sense of "this is mine, all others be damned". It definitely shows the economic struggle going on there.

love love it! How did you capture the blur? Lens baby, photoshop, or a strange lens configuration? Never seen such a selective focus.
