Landrum Kelly 65 Posted February 8, 2008 I like the way the butterfly seems to be looking up to the flowers forassistance.--Lannie Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted February 8, 2008 The title is from a line in Gounod's opera Faust, in which in the final scene Marguerite looks up to angels in heaven and cries out for their protection.--Lannie Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 8, 2008 Very beautiful cropped lannie and placed on the frame, the B/W works nice here as it accentuates the white colors of the flowers on the L and the butterfly on the R. The diagonals in FG and BG( blurred) gives it a nice DOF, Light is soft and well done. Poetic it is.! Link to comment

jill_rocker 1 Posted July 2, 2009 A very very beautiful shot... The black adn white treatment is lovely but even if it is in black and white you can see how colorful the butterfly is in a way... The composition is just wonderful and I really like the use of Dof here.... Great work... Best Regards, Jill Link to comment
