The title is from a line in Gounod's opera Faust, in which in the final scene Marguerite looks up to angels in heaven and cries out for their protection.

Very beautiful cropped lannie and placed on the frame, the B/W works nice here as it accentuates the white colors of the flowers on the L and the butterfly on the R. The diagonals in FG and BG( blurred) gives it a nice DOF, Light is soft and well done. Poetic it is.!

Thanks, Jill. I still see yellow when I look at it. --Lannie

A very very beautiful shot... The black adn white treatment is lovely but even if it is in black and white you can see how colorful the butterfly is in a way... The composition is just wonderful and I really like the use of Dof here.... Great work... Best Regards, Jill

Protegez-moi (B&W) I like the way the butterfly seems to be looking up to the flowers for assistance.
