Woolfie choses a tipple for the Lunar New Year

 

Just a bit of fun for the Lunar New Year. Not meant to be taken seriously but any feedback is appreciated.

Having looked at your photos and also read your comments, I am particularly appreciating

 

- your (photographic) sense of humour

- your ability to make fun of yourself, i.e.: not taking yourself too serious

- your photographic abilities, and

- your ability to criticize.

Luca, Your words are very kind. You are correct, I do not take life to seriously. Photography is a hobby for me and as such it should be fun. I do feel if you cannot laugh at yourself there is something wrong with you. Your comments about my photography and critiquing skills are humbling to say the least. Thank you very much.

 

Owen, I had a funny feeling you might like this one. It is just a snap shot taken for fun but 'Woolfie' being similar to myself is the message I wanted to get over. Thanks a lot Owen.

Pure malt Wolfie! choose 21 years pure malt!!

My God I just realized that I have tried them all except Compass box. Four of them are in the cabinet downstairs as we speak.

Carlos, I am sure Woolfie would like a 21 year old malt. Unfortunately there are none there.

 

Owen, It sounds like a trip to your house is the order of the day. Don't bother with the 'Compass Box.' It really isn't worth it. I just realised that there is one whisky missing from the line up. I guess I need a reshoot.

Well David, no 21 y.o. pure malt in the line... it's unfair for Woolfie, he's working hard just for coins then... mmmh

It looks as though Woolfie has a well stocked cabinet, and considering his tastes in other exotic things, it's a highly appropriate image of him.

 

The composition is excellent, and I really like the lighting in this one, David.

Carlos, Feel free to send 'Woolfie' a 21 year old Scotch. I am sure he would appreciate it.

 

Jim, I think 'Woolfie' is like so many of us. The lighting here is all natural. There are two large windows behind him. As you can see, he is closer to the window to the right.

This is cute, and I like cute things. You have taught me to grab one of my stuffed animals and see what I can do, photographically, with it. Very original.

I am glad that someone is trying to emulate me.
