whydangle 0 Posted February 6, 2008 Someone asked for a B&W conversion of this. Your thoughts are appreciated! Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted February 6, 2008 One of my favorites in your portfolio; and this really works well in black and white. As much as I am a fan of black and white; I am of the mind that the impact of this terrific image is best exhibited in color. You've done a fine job with this though. As I said on the color version (I think?) you certainly have a knack for finding fascinating and unique compositions. Good work, Amigo! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
doctorbabaguy 0 Posted February 7, 2008 Marvelous composition adn tonality. Perhaps a bit too soft due to noise reduction, if a print would be really striking. Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted February 7, 2008 Thank you Pawel, Paolo, Chris and Animesh. I have not printed the B&W version Animesh, but the color print is pretty clean. This was intentionally left soft. I usually sharpen for web and for print ouput, but I liked the unsharpened version of this better. There is nearly no noise so the softening is simply an artistic choice. Link to comment
