You are right, but isn't that exactly what good photos should be: a mirror of yourself? A picture in itself is nothing until a viewer projects and reflects on it. Sorry it didn't work for you, though I don't find your critique very constructive. Seeing your portfolio, I understand your style and subjects are totally different, but that is no reason to be condescending, is it? Photographically, what is it you think needs improving, and how? It looks natural & intimate to me, I like it.

This looks very natural to me, but the use of B&W coupled with not being able to see her face gives this more of an artistic feel than an erotic feel.

 

One notices more of the form and contrast because the face is not really visible.

I love "backstage" .. those unforgettable little moments. As I wrote elsewhere today, all this is so subjective. it's all a matter of what one relates to personally. Contrary to the gentleman further up , I find this very sensual. The pursed lips, folds formed in the tissue, relaxed opening of the bra ... I love these little moments captured on camera.
