Great shot..The sand is perfect with the slight unevenness, giving this photo some added depth.....Good eye Vicente, as usual.

Saludos y enhorabuena otra vez.

Life pops up in the strangest places. There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said regarding this image, except that I agree with the previous comments (even he ones that aren't in English ;-)). Very well done.

this image is great.

alex s., who gave you a non-anon 3/3, has a grotesquely over-sharpened elk on the front-page top row today. why over sharpen an animal? elk don't look like that at all. anyway, here's to electronically augmented elk. the image you commented on was good, though.

why am i speaking all this rubbish, you may well ask? this image is also very obviously over-sharpened. it looks unnatural at the default photo.net size, and much more so at your full upload resolution. i think it's ok if you think of it as an artistic effect, but it's over-used far too often to be considered an artistic effect, in my opinion.

if i don't sound too obnoxious, you might try it with sharpening turned off, but with the contrast increased until it looks right to you. that will give you the punch without making it look like an illustration.
