photis santamouris 23 Posted February 5, 2008 I prefer to rate only pictures I like.Have a look at my ratings.I've never given a 3/3 to anyone. Link to comment
Funtak 0 Posted February 5, 2008 PhoS Sant O.K. We all have our preferences, forex. I generaly dont rate insects, wedings, apstracts, because I am not interested in that kind of subjects, that does not mean that I think those photos are poorly crafted. It is just matter of taste. But if someone constrain himself from giving lower rates to the kind of photos he is generaly interested in - that actually is rating - less than zero. If I see at P.N. that you have rated photo that is alike my photo, and you decide not to rate my photo - what could be my conclusion? Link to comment
photis santamouris 23 Posted February 5, 2008 Who's behind the viewfinder is usually more important for me ,than the photo itself, and I find really interesting captures in all categories.Just tell anyone who has got a camera to put it on a table, pointing anywhere, and activate the self timer triggering button, without any more concern. It's just like freezing motion through a 24-hour web camera video.Could you rate and critique on such an image if you knew the story behind? Now THAT would make me ignore such an image. And since I'm not here for frustration ,I try to comment only on images I really like,of very few photographers,it's true.Everyone's doing that and I'll never accuse anyone of not commenting on my images, because there are thousands that need critiques every day! thadley 10 Posted February 16, 2008 Beautiful and intriguing image. The shadowy figure holds the key for me or perhaps deepens the mystery. A spiritual figure moving from the light to the fires. One side has a fire and the other side does not. One could interpret this image for quite a while. Well done. Wish I could give you a 7 - at least on originality but the silly rules of PN prevent me. Best regards, Link to comment
