trouble in paradise

...my first day at a Mexican resort - quite exiting. The fire jumped

from one thatched roof to another and destroyed a good part of the

complex. Luckily no one got injured or killed - at least that's what

we were told.

I can almost visualize you sitting in a lounge chair by pool with a margarita in one hand and a point & shoot in the other. Good timing!

Jim, this was shot from my patio - it was early in the morning. Trying to get closer to the action I then encountered a group of maids running down the hallway screaming "fire, fire". We grabbed our passports and wallets and left as the fire alarm sounded. Our building had only little damage, but just about all of the buildings you see to the left of the fire, were lost.It was pretty bad!
