clayton_berg 0 Posted February 4, 2008 Great colours and details. The little bird in the forground makes the shot stand out. Link to comment

miniscott 0 Posted February 5, 2008 Thanks for all the kind comments; Clayton, Ivan, Walter, Birte. I do agree the little Robin makes the picture and I was quiet lucky to be in the right place at the right time. Regards & thanks again Richard Ajusted a couple of things in PS elements Link to comment
kevin scott 0 Posted February 5, 2008 Hippotastic, Great shot love the way the left hippo is looking at the viewer, even with out the robin it would be still a great shot. Kevin Link to comment

photodonn 0 Posted February 6, 2008 I think it's a bit unfair to call it luck, unless you just walked by, spent 30 seconds, snapped and walked away. Capturing unique moments takes effort and skill, putting yourself in good position and then executing when the moment arises. Otherwise Henri Cartier-Bresson would just be considered "lucky". In any case, really nice shot :) Link to comment
miniscott 0 Posted February 15, 2008 I have to confess that only spent about 5minutes taking pictures of the hippos, when the robin arrived (and only got this one with the robin in it). So I was quiet fortunate, but that is half the battle being in the right place at the right time Thanks for the kind comments Donn Your macro & animal work is great. Regards Richard Link to comment
