Thanks, Michael. No, I didn't add grain. I think that the old house is simply showing signs of age. Any other graininess present would come from the fact that the E-20 was a bit noisy in low light, although here the light was not terribly dim.

Your version is certainly cleaner, but, in removing the noise, you have taken the flaking paint as well. In this case, the age and condition of the house were part of the appeal for me.

I don't mind the "noise", it adds to the delapidated state of the house, but what's really appealing to me is the lighting, there's such a wonderful play of light and shadow across the facade of the old house.
