Hej Jon. I was looking at this photo and the other one with two girls with great interest and admiration but also feeling as if there has to be something more to it. I think that this photo, for example, is of such a high technical and aesthetic quolity, make very close and personal encounter with the persone, that it need some kind of story or text to it. As if you see someone down the street you don't have to speak but if you meet someone over a coffe table it is normal to converse. The visual impact is very strong and require a logical continuation I think. Regards. Ilia.

Thank you very much for your comments, Bulent and Ilia. I'm for the time being working together with Ingjerd. I asked her to pose as a model, and she agreed. I've tried to figure out what I wanted with the portrait. I believe there are (at least) two approaches I could have chosen: One, to show her most typical appearance, making viewers of the shot saying, "yes, this is really how she is". Another, trying to display my own interpretation of what I find most interesting and attractive about her visual expression, making viewers saying, "is this really Ingjerd, I didn't remember her that beautiful". I think it's the latter approach I've tried. In this context, I find your comments very interesting.

I did ask Ingjerd if she would write some words about this portrait. Here is what she wrote:

Which translate to something like:

"A close-up picture which doesn't hide I have some years behind me. Still I fell it reflects much of me. Searching for something new, open minded for new input. A little smile signalizes positivity. However with a small "wrinkle-of-thoughts" (?), possibly caused by experience of life. The hat makes a shadow effect which makes me a little secretive and does not reveal all of me. Maybe an effect causing one to want to get to know me better?"
