tbeachel 0 Posted February 4, 2008 I'm very partial to B&W portraits for some reason, this is one of my favorites. If anyone has any comments on what I can do better with this photo, let me know. Thanks for your time. Link to comment
ananda1 0 Posted February 4, 2008 Nice capture, I think you can crop bg at right corner. Regards Anand Link to comment
ananda1 0 Posted February 20, 2008 Little cropping, extract and different bg, here you go. Cute kid. Link to comment
tbeachel 0 Posted February 22, 2008 Thanks Ananda for the help, it is different to see a subject without any background, gives one a different perspective. Very educational, thank you for your time. Beach Link to comment
ananda1 0 Posted February 23, 2008 Thanks, but I don't think altered is much more stronger than the original. I wanted to retain his travel chair but, you know I am not very strong in PS (learning now) and just put a simple bg. My focus was only on kid but now I feel little more is required for that frame. I want to share something with you. After cropping, I just put this on the screen of my laptop before going for lunch. When I came back, I saw four of my collegues just sitting in front of my laptop with great silence looking into the pic. Later one of them told me that, she was lost in the pic. "I realized the strength of photography then". Kudos for sharing such a nice emotional shot. Regards Anand Link to comment
