I think the image may have benefited from closing in on the subject. The present cropping, may be difficult, in the sense that it is a bit too far to render good details and a bit too close for the whole view of the building to appear. So in answer to your point, a little different cropping/close up or distance, would possibly contribute to the composition in a positive way.

That is anyhow the way I feel about the subject.

Any other opinions on this matter or on the picture otherwise?
