regis 0 Posted February 2, 2008 Majestic "Old Man of Storr" at dawn (something around 5am). Please see the larger version as the smaller one lacks quality. Your comments/critiques much appreciated. Link to comment
goodhart 0 Posted February 2, 2008 This is absolutely wonderful--you have an excellent portfolio- a real pleasure to view and is very inspiring to the novice. Hope to shoot as well one day. thanks DC Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted February 2, 2008 This is very nicely toned! How did you do it? It looks like there is a bit of a cross-curve from cool to warm. So far, it seems that people (myself included) prefer this one to the color version. Link to comment
regis 0 Posted February 2, 2008 Thank you very much for your comments. I really appreciate it. Aaaron - I used a technique called 'splitt-toning'. I cooled down the shadow areas by adding some blue colour while warming up the highlights by adding some yellow-orange hue. I think I also prefer this one to the colour version as you can focus on these textures and shapes. Thank you again. Piotr Link to comment
