Nice composition, nice tones.

This is very nicely toned! How did you do it? It looks like there is a bit of a cross-curve from cool to warm. So far, it seems that people (myself included) prefer this one to the color version.

Aaaron - I used a technique called 'splitt-toning'. I cooled down the shadow areas by adding some blue colour while warming up the highlights by adding some yellow-orange hue. I think I also prefer this one to the colour version as you can focus on these textures and shapes.
