cherlyn 1 Posted February 1, 2008 Title proposed by Roger Leekam. Children are always the One Love in their parent's heart. I am really undecided between the B/W & colour version as I like them both. How about you? Feedback welcome.Other members' submission:[Roger Leekam],[kenny garver],[Anakin Sk],[Margaret Woodall],[Vamsi Krishna] Link to comment

Donna Stavis 0 Posted February 2, 2008 The light draws the eye from the woman's loving face to the child. (I prefer the b & w.) Very tender shot. Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted February 2, 2008 I usually tend towards colour (I have not mastered the effective use of B/W) but you know as lovely as the colours are, I tend to think the B/W one shows off the "moment" more. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted February 2, 2008 My preference is B & W image,Cherlyn. Excellent composition, caption, exposure & light. The smile of the mother and the glint in the eyes of the baby are priceless. Thanks for guiding me to Roger's superb portfolio. Link to comment

oxymor0n 2 Posted February 2, 2008 very nicely captured moment, cherlyn. the look on the womans face makes the scene with its warming "aura". too bad the kids face is not 100% sharp, but that's not a real problem to me, the overall impression is still very good. congrats, patrick btw. I also prefer the bw version, because to me it looks clearer Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted February 2, 2008 B&W is my choice. With this style of dress the child is destined to become an astronaut! Nice capture! Link to comment
pepmir 0 Posted February 2, 2008 The B&W is excellent and I prefer it in this photo. Regards. Link to comment
dfeng 0 Posted February 2, 2008 This is truly a wonderful portrait shot. Great lighting. I perfer the color version which presents the world of children better. Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted February 3, 2008 Lovely portrait, dear Cherlyn. Two beautiful expressions and attitudes. Both versions are great, although I prefer a little bit the b/w version, more elegant. Excellent light, contrast and sharpness. Congrats! Link to comment
Sogokon 0 Posted February 3, 2008 A lovely & excellently captured moment and the black and white works well. Regards, Sergei Link to comment
lauro1 0 Posted February 3, 2008 It is difficult to choose one of the two versions. Both black&white and colour versions are very beautiful. Perhaps the b&w version underlines the faces while the colour version shows the whole best. Link to comment
alberto_quintal 2 Posted February 4, 2008 Excellent b&W, the color version is beautiful too, great work, Cherlyn. Alberto Link to comment
