liked the softness that emphasises the colours and the colour contrasts

Did you mean for the sky to have the gradient across - I recently went on a shoot with a pro and on reviewing the photos I had some with a sky colouration & tonal gradation like that - he suggested that effect is through having full polarisation with a CPL when the sun & image plane angle were not at right angles - this mean there was a gradation in the polarisation. I found that intersting & was just wondering about your intent here?

The image is so well done! Congratulations! As for the above comments on the sky gradient...Could it be as the darkness was over taking the light from the day; the sky was darker on the left? It really does not matter here- the image works very well. I am also a big fan of the Sigma 10-20mm lens. Chris 6/6

Well, i didn't use any filter or polarize. This effect is caused by the clouds slowly moved to the right during the shot.

No filter or lights used during the exposition.

Regards!

It is a strange image. The right part is fleeing in NOTHING. It is unfortunatelly taking too much attention from this velvet night scene.

Work on this image, try to frame it. It is worth it. cheers Jana
