Doug, once again you've stopped me in my tracks. I could write a book while staring at this wonderful portrait. You have a gift, my friend, a real gift.

ALL the girls like Doug. He won't say why.

Doug, I like this one too. It's a nice backround, I think the color of the bricks naturally compliment her complexion & the color of her hair. The dof is good, she's natural & relaxed, & those eyes are fantastic.

It never ceases to amaze me how you get these to look so natural. I can't even make a portrait of my grandkids and make it natural. Something about you must make people trust you implicitly. And many of these folks probably know how you make a living! LOL Seriously though, I don't think it is the technical level so much as the human level that makes your portraits so damn good. Chalk up another success here my friend.

Thanks fellows. For some time now, I've gone on photo shoots disguised as a short, bald, oldish guy. I've found that this usually eliminates any uneasiness on the part of the subjects.

Keep in mind that in a small town like mine, the local folks are sort of an extended family. Jessie has waited on me a bunch of times at a local restaurant, and we talk. She knows that I think she's bright, caring and lovely. And I know about her job, her son, her parents, and her boyfriend in Hawaii. It wasn't a big deal to take a walk on an old street in town and take pictures while we chatted. I just told her that I didn't want her to pose, and that I wanted to see the real Jessie, with whatever she was feeling at the time. She was tired and had a migraine headache.

This is an awesome portrait. Everything about it works. A waitress? I think I need some coffee. Best...Bill
