The soft, almost satin life feel of the light on the falling water juxtaposes nicely with the hard, gritty texture of the water in the foreground. More than just a picture of the falls, this is an exercise in the idea that it is the light, or more particularly, how well the artist handles it, that separates a postcard from a work of art. About the only thing I would quibble about is that I would have personally cropped some of the foreground so you don't have the dreaded 50/50 split.
