Interesting subject, these steel tubes juxtaposed with a beautiful sky. I would crop some of the bottom, to just below the first full row of tubes.

Thank you Claude for the suggestion. I guess, as they say, it is all in the eye of the beholder. I chose this compo because I wanted to include the repeating circle pattern. Some of the other shots I took this evening did not include any circles, just the top of the pipes from a closer angle. I feel they were all effective choices, but this one seemed to convey a stronger message of repitition. I think your comp would work quite well.

You never cease to amaze me, my friend! What a California shot; the beautiful sky, the pump jacks, the irrigated field and the drilling pipe. I wouldn't change a thing. Damn good eye to see this. Man, this is terrific! Good-on-ya! Cheers! Chris
