Divine Light

Inside St Mary's Church, Edinburgh. I have always been fascinated by

churches, both by the atmosphere and the architecture. I had done

this in b/w as well...but somehow this was the one I preferred. No

filters used...just a prosumer model camera in manual mode. Thanks

...Dennis, yes, no tripod used here. This was one of the earlier photos I had taken with the camera...at that time I was just getting used to the concept of manual mode. Is there visible camera shake (though I think the image stabilisation mode was on)?

... but just not as tack sharp, although it doesn't hurt the shot at all. With the light, the soft effect is quite effective. this is sort of my field, so I'm always interested. Thanks.

Samrat, you are still keeping play with the light inside buildings. I love it. It's a luck that you got smooth picture. Church doesn't have sharp edges, does it?
