This and 748 are typical of your work. They appear simple because you are so meticulous with your composition and everything seems to belong where it is. So, we are seduced by the aesthetics and allowed to lose ourselves in the complexity of the drama. The tulips seem huge, somewhat like the wings on Nike in the Louvre. The vase and the yellow blossom suggest other elements of Nike's body.

Or this could be just what it is. Your best work is always graphically clear and definitive allowing it to be ambiguous, metaphorical, as meaningful as the viewer.

The inner light that glows behind the yellow blossom gives this "body" its life, I think.
