Let the memory remain.

For all the innocent people from all around the world who have been

condamned by the ignorance of an ideology. And by the silence of the

responsible people

Let the memory remain.

I've read your comments but I, like many other viewers, find this series most disrespectful to holocaust victims. I have read a great deal on this subject and looking at your photographs, I have to wonder if you even have a clue as to what took place at those camps, do you know where those trains were going and have any idea of the unbelievable human suffering that those women and men endured.

No, I wasn't there, and no, in reality I too have no real concept of the greatest horror of mankind. No, I'm not a Jew but I have a heart and a soul. I have compassion and I tried to convey this in my just completed series, "Missing Souls". Did I nail it? I doubt it, but at least I didn't mix Playboy with said, death camps. I didn't destroy the name of every woman that passed thru the above camp. Your photos make it look like red light district rather than a killing field.

Obviously this is a very sensitive subject for me. and I challenge to rethink your series.

Your ruin my day....

Well you know, I have read your comments times ago but I didn’t feel like answering it then.

But of course I didn’t forget, so here I am.

Many people feels offended by my association, in some of the works related to this sad theme, with a nude body. It is funny that most of this sensitive feeling is coming from USA…the nation who I would say is actually responsible of what happened more than other and of the successive, and consequently “actual” <balanced> situation in Europe.

Anyway, I am not considering a nude body with the sex association only, it is only a figurative way to explain an abstract concept.

I am not going to enter a discussion, quite boring to tell you the truth (if associated to “a photography”), about what happened in central Europe 70 years ago.

Sure I know, I know quite well what happened in facts. After my last visit to the main camp (which wasn’t the first, and not even the second…), last April, I got fed up and I am going to stop for a while to talk about this theme through my photos. But this is another topic.

Anyway, did you comment this photo, the most “neutral” because you didn’t feel like commenting the “incriminate” ones? ;)

I like your photos, and the serie regarding holocause are very deep, intimate. What I try to do here is something different, I need (better, needed…) to move people’s attention toward this topic, still not known and explained. I won’t get your humorous association with playboy, on the contrary I can do a black joke, telling you that most of the people there weren’t dressed.

This said, I thank you for the comment and for the attention to my works, and I pass.. ;)
