paolo de faveri 1 Posted January 26, 2008 I took this three weeks ago in Manarola, Cinque Terre, Italy. I initially discarded this, because of the slightly wrong exposure, that I considered underexposed. However I found that yellow sky provoking enough, with that somewhat "sulphurean" look giving to the entire scene an otherworldly mood. That yellow in the sky only lasted for minutes. I'm not an expert of atmospheric issues, but I guess there was some dust in suspension - that day was very windy. Here's what I came out with, I would be really glad to read your thoughts on it. If you wish, have a look at my website: http://www.paolodefaveri.com Link to comment
eugenio_pastor_benjumeda 0 Posted January 26, 2008 I think you got a dramatic atmosphere with that yellow sky. Perhaps the subexposure is a good option to this image. I like it.Regards from Eugenio. Link to comment
tmauro 0 Posted January 26, 2008 Trovo buona l'esposizione e molto interessante il colore del cielo. Peraltro il momento dell'acqua che si infrange sugli scogli rende la scena intensa. Ciao Paolo. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted January 27, 2008 I like this photograph; very moody and dramatic. I like the shutter speed that you chose; creates a very realistic looking surf. I assume that the yellowish cast is probably dust blown across the Mediterranean from North Africa? Beautiful work, my friend! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
