aepelbacher 0 Posted January 25, 2008 I would highly recommend that any American go out of your way to visit the makeshift memorial (so far) in Shanksville, PA. Flight 93. It's a beautiful tribute, maintained by the people of Shanksville who are grateful to the victims of Flight 93 for making sure that the flight crashed in a field and not on a populated place.For some reason, I like that the boy in this image has on a yarmulke. For me, it adds to the melting pot character of our nation.I have attached some other images from the area to this other upload that aren't necessarily "art", but add to the experience of the visit. Go there if you can ... it's pretty far from any big city ... but it's beautiful countryside and a very moving memorial.
