kristyc 0 Posted January 24, 2008 Camilo, can you tell us more about this place. Is this a freshwater spring? It really looks amazing there and I love how you composition includes the flowering plants and the depths below. Is that limestone? Sorry, you've just peaked my curiousity about an obviously beautiful area! Well done! Kristy ;) Link to comment
camilo.margeli 1 Posted January 26, 2008 Hi Kristy, I'm sorry by the delay. About this place, it's the source of a river Urederra, located on Navarra in the north of Spain (Europe). Urederra in Euskera (the vasque country language) means Beautiful Water, a very well chosen name by the ancient people of this area. I took this photo the last august, during a raining day. The color of the river is the most characteristic of this river, due that the source is in the valley under the Urbasa Sierra, a very beautiful mountain based on limestone composition, the same you can find in this river. You can see the full valley from the top of the Urbasa sierra in the last photo of this folder. Please, don't hesitate of ask for more details if you want. Kind regards. Link to comment
