beaz 0 Posted January 27, 2008 Some intriguing work here "painting with light." Ethereal and mysterious. Keep experimenting! Regards, Jerry Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted January 30, 2008 WOW... What a great artwork, Hanna! This is subtle, delicate, yet strong and beautiful at the same time... My hearty congratulations on this excellent work! Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted February 3, 2008 Excellent effect which gives to this image a ghostly or dreamy appearence. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted February 4, 2008 Thankyou all for looking and commenting. I've found it difficult to get satisfactory results panning with people in the scene because they become too elongated. I think the answer is to pan from the top of the scene and stop at the point where the person is in the viewfinder, so as to get just a little blur from their movement. Link to comment
dseltzer 0 Posted February 6, 2008 Hanna, I like this image very much. You're probably already familiar with Gordon Bowbrick's "drive by" shots and experiments with camera movement and slow shutter? This piece is of the same genre, and to my eye an excellent example. Like many of Gordon's pieces, this is more like a painting than a photograph, especially since the image doesn't look so much like you've moved the camera as it looks like the image has been rendered with pastels or colored pencils. An excellent piece of work! Link to comment
