marcadamus 1 Posted January 23, 2008 I just couldn't resist shooting this much-photographed location onthis evening. The sky was as impressive as I've ever seen here. Thankyou for commenting Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Lovely again!. Apart from light and glow , the path traced that curves and ultimately points to the colorful clouds. I had been there last month, my plans to stay up for sunset at the racetrack had to be abandoned, due to not so unusual tire issues :-) Link to comment

anish 0 Posted January 23, 2008 a much photographed location for sure, but your composition is still quite good, and what a sky. this is no fault of yours, but the bottom 20% or so looks distinctly "stretched" downwards. i'm sure it's due to the ultrawide focal length, but here the effect is rather pronounced. almost gives the illusion that the ground is dropping off just in front of the rock. llmswamy 0 Posted January 24, 2008 Hi Marc,I have been spending time since couple of days watching death valley pictures on PN to note down interesting locations as I'm traveling to DVNP next week end (Feb 2nd). Although this is much photographed location...your picture is still unique; just not sky alone..composition and colors too.Small question: image suggests that you used GND filters(I guess...); do you suggest using reverse GND for similar situations ? thanks Swamy Link to comment
