portofolioanaluthi 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Superb! I love this light, this ray of sun setting on the subject. Sincerely. Ana Link to comment
tgregoire 0 Posted January 23, 2008 very nice picture and beautifull light. Maybe the subject a little too much in the centre of the frame? Link to comment
laurent-paul 1 Posted January 23, 2008 Nice lighting, and nice catch. I like the position of the character, as the leg is creating a nice diagonale. Perhaps one option, but not sure it will be effective : I know you would loose depth, but have you tried to crop out the BG behind the bridge ? just curious about what impression that would give. laurent Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted January 24, 2008 I'm glad you spent time commenting this work and - as usual - I have read your suggestions. Thibault: the subject at the center has been a little "problem" in the same moment I took the photo, but I had to be quick, and her face and hands where so important that I had no time to choose another "pose". Laurent, I choose to leave the background for two main reasons: first of all, and in my opinion, it'sa good "balancing" element for the cobblestones in the lower section of the image, and the second reason, well, it may sound funny, but I like the writing on the upper right wall "Battelli di Roma", that means "[river] boats of Rome" and is a sort of communicative sign of the location. I hope I wasn't boring and thank you all again. G. Link to comment
