vancouverphotographer 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Yep, nice composition here, I like the exposure of the snow too, works well with the steel rails and vehicle.. Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted January 22, 2008 I like the way you use shapes (Curve) as a more relaxed casual way to lead the eye through the composition. The orange truck seem to your advantage and the gray color may add more character to your image. :0)) Link to comment
lptem 0 Posted January 22, 2008 I love the smoothness of the snow not yet run over..the curve in the track...very cool image..lauren Link to comment
adelah 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Unusual composition, an original winter work, perfect depth and again so alive and real. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Terrific composition; not a track in the snow! Excellent white balance; feels cold. Really great lead-in too. Well done! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
massa 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Excellent composition, the rails lead us to the locomotive, very good colors. Congrats. Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted January 22, 2008 Wonderful - A+ on the composition, lighting, presentation size and frame, color palette. In other words, couldn't be better! Cheers ~ Link to comment
dianadeaver 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Wow! What a unique and compositionally strong image! Just so awesome. I love how it combines nature and technology. Link to comment
teresa.zafon 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Wonderful!. The composition is excellent and the light is gorgeous, but what I like here very much is the contrast of the yellow machine against the blue and cold tones. Link to comment
gatzelis 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Perfect framing, striking yellow, the background is perfect to accent the silhouettes of the trees at first sight. The light (i guess evening) gives wonderful shadows. Lovely atmosphere with soft tones. The curved rails are wonderful. All the lines to the Yellow. Perfect framing. Great one Joe. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted January 22, 2008 Very nice tri tone image. The texture in the snow is wonderful. Link to comment

rachelfoster 0 Posted January 23, 2008 The curve of the tracks and the lines of the trees make this shot! I have a fog shot that has a crush on your snow shot.....ha! Link to comment
richard hans 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Exquisite vertical composition, great contrast, nice light, liflike rendering, Joseph P.!!! Best regards Link to comment
dseltzer 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Ditto all the above! I especially like the two lines of snow covering the tracks, in the very foreground and the smaller line midway between the tracks at the bottom (front) of the shot and the rail equipment... a rail snow plow? Never seen anything quite like it. This shot is so very well seen and captured. Congrats, my friend. Warm regards, David. Link to comment
gerfoy3 0 Posted January 23, 2008 The Curve and the position of the yellow plough (plow, is that how Americans spell it??) is perfect... Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted January 23, 2008 Yes, the curved track does provide a good leading line & the yellow truck a good focus point. Very well composed, Joseph. Link to comment
